Custom Packaging

Can anyone tell me from where I can get packing supplies at a cheaper rate?

I am based in Los Angeles California and I need packing supplies at the earliest.

1. packing as in moving? if you have a week, go to a few different stores, small to medium in size, and ask them to save you boxes and packing peanuts, bubble wrap, whatever. as long as you promise to pick it up within a day or two of their next delivery, most (smaller) stores will save you what you ask for rather than paying the dumpster fees to chuck it out. also, tip from my mom, when you are moving, use towels and clothes to wrap dishes and ornaments. the towels will keep the dishes from breaking, and they are all going to the same place anyway. why waste all that bubble wrap?
2. Newspaper is always cheap. Cardboard works well, and I used to transport arcade and pinball machines. Depends on what you are shipping.
